Last month, the legendary French duo Daft Punk announced their decision of splitting up, after an iconic career of almost 30 years.
Now, the Manchester-based Kaleidoscope Orchestra has decided to tribute them this summer with a unique performance in Manchester Cathedral.
The performance will consist in two back to back concerts on Friday August 20, at 6 PM and 8:30 PM, in which the orchestra will play classical renditions of Daft Punk’s biggest hits.
According to the ticketing site, fans can expect a “safe, comfortable and socially-distanced event.” The FAQ page also notes that attendees will be required to wear a mask to enter and it must be worn at all times during the show.
Daft Punk will be truly missed but their legacy will live forever.
